Laura Leites
Commitment. Compassion. Understanding. Wisdom. These are just a few of the gifts Laura Leites brings to each and all as a Tides volunteer. Laura has been a faithful volunteer for many years. She has facilitated teen and adult groups and always demonstrates her care and concern for each and every member. She is also a board member and has focused on engaging our volunteers in opportunities to learn and grow through reading books, engaging in conversations on the complexities of grief, and offering times for fellowship together.
Laura is thoughtful and deliberate as she journeys with grievers. She listens with her heart and connects with those who are grieving. She respects the unique grief journeys of each individual. She is soft spoken, but her heartfelt care is “loud and clear.” Laura also brings an awareness of cultural sensitivity and engages with our Spanish speaking families.
